The Space Rangers are the Galactic Commonwealth’s Star Heroes. Here are the Core beliefs of all Rangers:

A New Adventure and New Universe.
One of the most striking differences of this series is that it takes place within 50 light years of Earth. This is a first for any TV sci-fi show! Within this space there are 133 stars that are visible to the unaided eye. A telescope increases this number to over 2,000 star systems. This series will visit places seen in the night sky, with an added benefit of teaching fans the local neighborhood of star systems. They can point up into the night sky and retell the adventures of the Rangers. Where the Valkyrie leads the charge to retake the lost colonies of star system Struve 2398, or where Captain Sinclair fought a sea beast to save the colony on 61 Cygni D. There are countless extra-stellar objects that cannot be seen and not gravitationally bound to any star. These objects include dim red dwarf stars, brown dwarfs, rogue planetary systems or single rogue planets, asteroid fields, derelict alien craft, space monsters and other unknowns yet to be discovered. Here is an endless backdrop for storytelling. And all these places can be seen; just look up in the night sky.
Another difference between the Space Ranger Corps and other sci-fi TV shows will be the characters and alien life forms: truer to real sizes and shapes than live action. In live action shows aliens are nothing more than people in makeup and costumes (funny looking humans), which restricts storytelling. Since the Rangers series will be created using 3D animation we can be more creative. For example, the character Brom is a gorilla like alien from the Alpha Centauri star system. He walks naturally on all fours, and can look a six-foot man in the eye. When Brom stands on hind legs he would be 12 feet in height. Centaurian hands are similar to human hands. Their feet are larger and very nimble, with an opposable big toe. He can hang upside down using his feet, or he can operate equipment with them. The Draconians are even larger! They stand eight feet tall and are 20 feet in length from nose to tail. They use their tail as an effective weapon by performing a tail whip and are outstanding jumpers. By using 3D animation, this series can raise the bar for Sci-Fi Action Adventure story telling for generations.
A great advantage of The Space Ranger Corps TV series is the type of action that the series will portray. The action and adventure will blend the best storytelling characteristics from older Sci-Fi shows with the newer Sci-Fi. This show will bring back the classic hero with episodes full of daring feats of heroism. The Space Ranger Corps will have space battles with the Draconians in one episode and then fight a sea monster on a water world in another episode. The Rangers will go spelunking to save scientists who discovered ancient technology in an underground cavern, and then face the unknown perils on an inhabited planet that orbits an unmapped star pulsating with strange radiation flares. The series will blend the best Science Fiction from the past and the present. The possibilities are endless.
The Rangers have a large arsenal of weapons and equipment that exceed any other series in scope and magnitude. They have a complete array of non-lethal weapons and gear. These devices are what the Rangers prefer to use. Though the Rangers are equipped for any encounter, and have access to energy weapons like lasers and plasma weapons and a large selection of projectile weapons, like 30 caliber assault weapons and small arms with rocket and grenade launchers. The Rangers employ really cool gadgetry and other space age devices.
This series will take the fans to amazing places; with most of the adventures taking place off ship. This is the biggest contrast between the Space Ranger Corps TV series and other Sci-Fi series and a major advantage for using 3D animation. One of these exotic places is the frozen world of Y’Mir, where native life forms breathe methane and have antifreeze for blood. This is a truly an alien planet, a volcanic ice world. On Y’Mir, life can only exist around geothermal features. These geysers and hot springs support vast colonies of bacteria that serve as the base of the food chain. Land Whales roam downwind in the fungal forest. These large animals are filter feeders and move across the surface like a herd of giant caterpillars. As you can see, 3D animation gives the series more room for creativity.
The Space Ranger Corps is a TV Series that demonstrates an actual possible future for humanity. The series will use as much real science as possible to add to the drama and excitement of the show. This series goal is to entertain as much as inspire the pursuit of science and space exploration and settlement. The Space Ranger Corps will rekindle the joy and wonder the Apollo missions to the moon did for earlier generations.
