GoreRoc and Grak: Military from the Draconian Star Empire

Captain GoreRoc the Terrible, Commander of the Heavy Battle Cruiser the “Claw”

The Draconians are a dinosaurian alien species from the orange dwarf star called DraKon, (LHS 287), in the Constellation of Draco. Their home world is Drakaina, a planet more massive than Earth. Since this star emits excessively in the infrared and orbits closer in to its home star, Drakaina is a steamy tropical planet. This planet is abundant in life from huge sauropod dinosaurs to small microsauria dinosaurs. Many dinosaurs are used as transports and mounts.

The largest of Draconians can reach 8 feet tall and have a length of 20 feet. They can weigh up to 1,100 pounds. This species’ scale coloration varies depending on subspecies, but mostly in the earth tones color scheme. Draconians are very resistant to heat based attacks and are susceptible to the cold. They are a hostile and aggressive alien species that are actively raiding into Commonwealth space. To date there is very little diplomatic exchange because Draconian see peace as weakness. The most prevalent ideal of the species is, “Only the strong should survive!”

Grak and GoreRoc

Commander GoreRoc the Terrible would be considered the Draconian equivalent of tall, dark and handsome. He is one of the best star ship Captains in the Draconian fleet. He never misses an opportunity to oppose the Rangers, or anyone else who gets in his way. He is intelligent and patient, which makes him very dangerous. Many enemies of the Draconians have met their end at the hands of GoreRoc and his crew.

GoreRoc commands the Claw, one of the most powerful battle cruisers in the Draconian Fleet. The second in command of the Claw is Grak, a battle hardened Draconian. Grak is a veteran of many military campaigns. He is a natural warrior, who has honed his instinct. Grak is very adaptable in his strategies and is trusted by GoreRoc. Together they make a deadly combination.

Doctor Sung
The Mutated Super Genius

Doctor SungDoctor Sung is an archaeologist. His main pursuit is investigating the link between many alien structures in the Commonwealth controlled space. While investigating the ruins found on a planet orbiting Gleiese 892 (structures similar to those found on the Cydonia region on Mars), his team unleashed a DNA acting virus that started to infect the colony. This virus is an alien mutating agent, which bonded to the victim’s DNA strand. It would attach to the strongest attribute and enhance that gene, in effect mutating the infected. Many infected people didn’t survive the transformation.

The Commonwealth sent aid and resources in an effort to stop the epidemic but to no avail. To prevent the spread of the deadly virus, the Commonwealth quarantined the colony. Doctor Sung blames the Commonwealth for the death on his wife and many of his friends and colleagues. All of the survivors were mutated; some are barely recognizable as human. The virus mutated Doctor Sung and made him a Super Genius by increasing his brain.

After the epidemic had passed the colony declared itself independent of Commonwealth rule. Since the colony was on the outer fringe, the Commonwealth decided to let them go. The people call themselves Morphs and named their planet Madó (Greek for molt). The Colony voted Doctor Sung as their leader, a role he takes very seriously. Doctor Sung values all his people and they respect him.

Doctor Sung’s greatest desire is to ensure his people’s safety and to look for ancient technology. Ancient alien technology means power. Technology is the primary export of Morphs. There is a black market in the Commonwealth of people who travel to Madó for the purpose of becoming a Morph. Doctor Sung discourages this, but accepts those who show great promise.

Red Eye
The Mercenary

Red EyeNo one knows Red Eye’s true name or where he hails from. Those who have had the displeasure of meeting the mercenary tell of a large man who is half machine.

The left side of his body was badly damaged during a forgotten battle. Many body parts are replaced with cybernetic implants. The left side of his face is badly scarred, with a cybernetic eye implant giving the mercenary his name. Rumor has it that Red Eye and his merry men were space marines who fought during the Draconian war.

Any job he undertakes is always well scouted and planned. He and his men are always well-equipment and any operation exhibits a high degree of precision. His tactics reflect Special Forces training. Red Eye’s reputation is ruthless when in pursuit of his goals, though he will try to avoid injuring innocent bystanders if at all possible. Once he gives his word he will keep it. He is a very capable adversary and is one of the top ten of the Galactic Commonwealth Most Wanted.
