Captain Orion Victoir Duval

Captain Orion Victoir Duval is one of two crew members that was born on Earth. He hails from Port-Cartier, in the province of Quebec, in the old country state of Canada. He is career Space Ranger, as were seven generations of the Duval family. He is presently the Captain of the GRV 1249 Valkyrie.

Captain Duval is the perfect example of what it means to be a Space Ranger. He was fascinated with the tales of his father and grandfather and the adventures of the Space Rangers, the Cosmic Brotherhood. The stars filled Orion with wonder. As a young child, he always planned to join the Rangers and to serve the Galactic Commonwealth.

In his youth, Orion dreamed that one day he would become one of Galactic Commonwealth’s “Star Heroes.” There have always been famous Space Rangers, whose deeds and actions have passed into legend and folklore. He believes totally in the core concept of the Rangers, “When you are alone in the black, it is the Space Rangers who will RISK IT ALL to come to the rescue.” He also longed for the opportunity to explore the boundaries of known space.

Captain Duval is first a man of action. He is fearless and at times can be a little reckless when defending the weak and helpless. He is well admired and respected among his crew and is seen as a fair and just man. He believes in integrity and loyalty, as he has shown many times in the past. Commander Brom son of Kyrum
Call Sign: “Big Daddy”

Brom son of Kyrum

Commander Brom son of Ky’ Rum is the only Centaurian aboard the Valkyrie. His planet of Cheiron orbits Alpha Centauri A, a star similar to our own. Centaurians are an alien race with gorilla-like features. This species walks on all fours and can look a six-foot person right in the eye. Centaurian’s hands are similar to human’s hands and their feet are larger with an opposable big toe and each is very dexterous and agile, (just like human hands).

Centaurians can run twice as fast as a human can, and climbing is second nature to them, but Centaurians have a heavy body mass density and cannot swim. When not walking they sit down. When they stand on their hind legs they would be 12 feet in height. All Centaurians are covered with a fine layer of fur, and have a mane that grows about the head. Only the males have facial hair. The hair color can range from light blond to very dark brown, depending on what region of Cheiron they come from. The more northern in Latitude the lighter the fur.

Brom is the third in command of the Valkyrie and serves as its chief engineer. Brom is in his prime, which for the long lived Centaurians, that would be at 262 years of age. The term gentle giant sums up Brom’s temperament, and he is very spiritual and superstitious, and a bit of a mystic. His otherworldly senses are correct most of the time.

Brom was one of his clan’s top warriors before the Great Alien Invasion. After the war his clan leader asked him to join the Space Ranger Corps in gratitude for human assistance during the darkest time in the war. Brom is a martial arts master in the Centaurian style, which is a mixture of kickboxing and wrestling. Brom’s favorite weapon, (besides his mini-gun) is a large blunt object or throwing rocks, at which he is very effective. Brom enjoys playing the harp and is a master of the Centauri game of “Orbs.”

Physical characteristics: Age, 262; Height, while on all fours he is six foot and 3 inches at the shoulder, and over twelve feet when standing on hind legs; Weight, seven hundred and forty eight pounds; Eye Color, deep green; Hair Color, chestnut brown.

ways acts as if he has a purpose and he speaks directly and to the point. Fearless in battle, Takoda has a solid grasp of military tactics, both fleet and ground. He loves the chance to take any ground vehicle for a spin, either tracked vehicle or hovercraft, though he finds driving the track vehicle more entertaining.

This world has a mass 97.3% of Earth’s mass, which gives this world a lower gravity.

Cetians are a race of primates that resemble an alien version of a macaque, with a prehensile tail. Tuu Bek serves as the Valkyrie’s science officer and mans the sensor/scanner array. In ship-to-ship combat he controls the Valkyrie’s electronic warfare systems.

Tuu Bek is the smartest member of the crew, with a logical mind and highly honed problem solving skills. He is fun loving, but doesn’t understand many of the jokes, expressions and slang used by the humans.
